Financial Policies
The Vein Center is a private clinic that does not receive funding outside of the services that we provide to our patients. As a result, we require payment in full for all services that we perform at the time of service that can include Co-pay amounts, Co-insurance amounts or deductibles per your insurance plan agreement. We are always willing to discuss the expected patient responsibility prior to the provision of services and are happy to provide estimates on any and all of the services we offer. We offer third party financing through Care Credit and their program includes no interest for up to 6 months on charges for qualified applicants. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer financing (“patient payment plans”) directly through the clinic due to the high rate of delinquency that we have experienced with prior patients. We file insurance claims as a convenience to our patients but ultimately, financial responsibility rests with each patient.
Sclerotherapy of spider-type veins is not a covered procedure, even with pain or other symptoms. We see patients complaining of spider-type veins for an initial consultation so that we can discuss the medication utilized, expected benefits/risks and estimated cost of the procedure. As most people know, spider veins can be controlled but not permanently prevented and repeat sclerotherapy sessions may be required in the future.
